Who is Sigurd Haugen?

Sigurd Haugen is a 28-year-old Norwegian center forward. He joined 1860 Munich from Aarhus GF a year ago and scored 16 goals and four assists in 35 third-division appearances.

Why is Haugen moving to Nurnberg?

Haugen explains: „I had two good years in the 3. Liga and now I want to show my qualities in a higher league. Nurnberg has made a big effort to sign me and I feel like I have the perfect chance to do so here in Nurnberg.“

Nurnberg's sports director Joti Chatzialexiou said: „Sigurd Haugen has proven his goal-scoring abilities in recent years and has also convinced in the 3. Liga over the last two years. The situation at 1860 has given us the opportunity to convince him to continue his career in Nurnberg.“
